Wednesday: Improv Night
Thursday: Open Mic Comedy
In 2008, Nutt St. Comedy Room opened in the basement of the Soapbox Laundro-Lounge. In 2013, the beloved Soapbox, and subsequently the Nutt St. Comedy Room, closed its doors. In 2014, The Dead Crow Comedy Room was hatched by Timmy Sherrill and Cole Craven who had previously worked together at Nutt St. and the Soapbox.
Dead Crow Comedy Room is currently open Tuesday-Saturday at 265 N. Front St., offering live comedy, and tasty drinks each night. We have weekly events (see posters below) featuring local and regional comedians, in addition to events featuring nationally touring comedians seen on film and televison, and heard on radio. We strive to find not only the comedians currently in the spot light, but also those about to take it. You never know who will come through Dead Crow and then go on to steal the show!
